Pamplona, June 5, 2022 - Lionel Messi continued his impressive international form with a stunning five-goal performance as Argentina crushed Estonia 5-0 in a friendly in Pamplona, Spain.
The Barcelona forward opened the scoring in the eighth minute with a clinical finish and added two more goals before half-time. He completed his hat-trick in the second half and netted two more goals to take his tally to five.
The win keeps Argentina's unbeaten run under coach Lionel Scaloni to 33 games. They will now turn their attention to their next friendly against Italy on June 8 before heading to the World Cup in Qatar later this year.
